Overview As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Shimmick, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for professional roles across our growing project backlog. You will partner with internal leaders to define hiring needs, source top talent, and guide candidates through the interview process while ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll act as an ambassador for Shimmick, engaging with candidates and showcasing the opportunities we offer. This role combines hands-on sourcing with strategic collaboration to support project delivery and client outcomes.

Responsibilities- Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process from sourcing to offer
- Source, screen, and engage candidates via networking, referrals, proactive sourcing, and direct outreach
- Collaborate with department managers to identify accurate hiring needs
- Develop and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies
- Assist with job postings and advertisements
- Coordinate interviews and travel for candidates with managers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Travel to company offices and project sites as needed
Key requirements- BA/BS degree with 2 years of relevant recruiting experience or equivalent
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail; deadline driven
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with public speaking and presenting

- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities
- Time management and deadline discipline
- Experience with applicant-tracking systems such as iCIMS and/or UKG
