Overview

In this role you will lead a team of 4 HR Business Partners and support an 1800+ employee population. You partner with executives to implement policy and programs spanning leadership development, culture, performance management, and succession planning, while linking HR efforts to talent strategy, recruiting, and retention. You provide data-driven insights to leaders and collaborate with Corporate Partners and HR Delivery teams. This role blends strategic advisory with hands-on people leadership in a utility industry context, emphasizing professional excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners
  • Partner with executives to execute talent strategy including recruiting, retention, and succession planning
  • Design and drive policy and program implementation across leadership development, culture, performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Provide data insights to leaders to inform decision making
  • Collaborate with Corporate Partners and HR Delivery teams
  • Maintain a high-performance work environment focused on excellence, teamwork, client satisfaction, and growth
  • Predict business needs and build client-focused HR solutions
Key requirements
  • 7-10 years of HR business partner experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead, coach, and influence executives and managers
  • Strong consulting, strategic thinking, influencing, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of HR disciplines: employee relations, succession planning, benefits, compensation, employment law, performance management, workforce planning, leadership development, HR policies/practices, laws/regulations
  • Ability to analyze information and derive business insights
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and multi-tasking
  • Discretion with confidential information
