Overview In this role you will shape Salesforce-enabled solutions for enterprise clients, combining deep technical expertise with architectural vision. You'll develop and demonstrate architectures that address customer needs, lead technical strategy, and mentor teams in a management consulting context. You'll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure Salesforce-based solutions that align with business goals. This opportunity offers impact at scale and travel across engagements.
Responsibilities- Define and communicate architecture options and recommendations for Salesforce-based solutions
- Develop technical strategies on the Salesforce platform and demonstrate customer-ready solutions
- Lead full lifecycle Salesforce implementations and drive architectural decisions
- Implement Salesforce declarative and programmatic development (Apex, Visualforce) and integrations (SOAP/REST)
- Manage deployment and packaging using Metadata API, Change Sets, and Ant
- Oversee governance, security, and coding standards for Salesforce projects
- Collaborate with consulting teams, mentor staff, and contribute to thought leadership
- Ensure successful delivery across varying project environments and client contexts
- Navigate governor limits and optimize integration performance
- Travel as required to client sites and engagements
Key requirements- 7+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong Salesforce knowledge and integration experience (Cloud integration, APIs, security)
- Advanced programming foundation (Apex, .NET, Java) and SQL/RDBMS understanding
- Experience in technology consulting and architecture frameworks
- 2+ full lifecycle implementations
- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (Metadata API, Change Set, Ant)
- Platform Dev1/2 or DEV501 Certification
- SOAP/REST API experience and WSDL handling
- Single Sign-On knowledge
- Java experience considered a plus
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent
