Sr. Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Estate

In this role you will serve as the trusted advisor for complex Global Commercial Banking clients, focusing on profitable relationships and tailored financial solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and Product Specialists to design financing and treasury solutions. You'll work with real estate developers and investors on construction, development, and permanent financing, helping clients navigate cash flow and capital structure. You will lead, coach, and adapt to market changes while supporting the bank's Responsible Growth and client-centric mission. • Manage a portfolio of complex CRE clients and prospects with $50M-$2B in annual revenue
• Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and cross-sell opportunities
• Analyze financial statements and industry trends to assess client financial health
• Collaborate with domestic and international teams (Investment Banking, FX, Wealth Management) and coordinate with Product Specialists (Credit, Treasury, Merchant Services) to deliver solutions
• Lead discussions with clients on industry dynamics, capital structures, and business issues
• Coach and mentor peers; adapt to evolving sales practices and market conditions

• 10+ years of CRE project lending and institutional financing experience
• Strong sales, marketing, and leadership capabilities with cross-functional collaboration
• Credit underwriting, presentation and negotiation skills; solid financial accounting and loan underwriting knowledge
• Familiarity with interest rate management, deposits, cash management, and fee-based products (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 (must obtain within 180 days)
