Responsibilities- Lead architectural design across all project phases (conceptual to construction documents) with the Design Principal and project teams
- Develop design concepts for pursuits and projects in Higher Education and Science & Technology markets
- Collaborate with designers, planners, project architects and engineers
- Produce drawings, renderings, and design assignments
- Prepare and lead design presentations and participate in interviews
- Provide oversight and mentorship to junior staff
- Mentor staff and participate in performance coaching
- Participate in employment interviews and serve as design expert and leader
Key requirements- Bachelor in Architecture or higher, with 10+ years of architectural design experience leading medium to large projects
- LEED AP preferred; Architectural Registration preferred
- Strong portfolio in Higher Education and Science & Technology (laboratory) markets
- Experience leading design teams and project groups
- Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD; experience with Rhino, Lumion, Enscape
- Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
