Overview As Administration Director, you will lead the plant's administrative operations for a 500-person manufacturing site. You'll shape policies, services, and site programs to support production, safety, and efficiency. You will collaborate with Facilities, EHS, HR, and Production to resolve issues and drive cost-effective service delivery. This role offers impact across vendor management, site events, and executive visits, contributing to Gotion's mission of accelerating electrified transportation. You will lead a professional, service-oriented administration team and shape scalable operations.
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day administrative operations and site services for a 500-employee facility.
- Develop and improve administrative policies, procedures, service standards, and operating processes.
- Ensure services align with production schedules and plant needs; resolve issues with relevant departments.
- Oversee employee services (catering, transport, accommodations, uniforms, office supplies, meeting spaces).
- Manage site and facility support (janitorial, landscaping, waste, pest control; office areas).
- Oversee security, access control, visitor management, and emergency readiness.
- Manage administrative vendors, contracts, KPIs, SLAs, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate executive visits, VIP events, and major plant activities.
- Collaborate across HR, EHS, Production, Engineering, Finance, IT; support external stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the administration team, define KPIs and service standards.
Key requirements- Bachelor in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive administration, site operations, or general affairs experience in manufacturing.
- 5+ years of people management leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience supporting 300-1,000+ employee manufacturing facilities (strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of plant administration, employee services, security, transportation, catering, and vendor management.
- Budget management, cost control, contract negotiation, and vendor performance management experience.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and executive presence with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Experience in battery, EV, automotive, semiconductor, energy, or related advanced manufacturing industries (preferred).
- Experience in multicultural and international environments; bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus.
