HR Learning Technology Manager

Overview

In this role you lead a team focused on implementing and maintaining HR technology systems (e.g., Workday) to enable efficient, accurate people data and processes. You translate business needs into technical solutions, manage system implementations and upgrades, and serve as the liaison between Regions and Workday. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, data integrity, and reporting capabilities to support HR operations and strategy. This is an opportunity to shape how Regions uses technology to empower its people and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate HR technology system implementations, upgrades, and changes
  • Translate business needs into functional/technical requirements and deliver solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs on system functionality and process improvements
  • Monitor issues, coordinate with Workday support, and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain Workday configurations, data governance, and integration error troubleshooting
  • Manage HR system security, including user access and permissions
  • Maintain and update foundational HR data in Workday (departments, locations, positions, compensation, performance)
  • Design reports and queries to meet stakeholder needs and ensure data accuracy
  • Provide notices on system downtime and maintenance windows
  • Serve as liaison between Regions and Workday for HR technology
  • Adapt plans to address resource and operational challenges
  • Lead the team with focus on delivering reliable, scalable HR tech solutions
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, Business Admin, or related field with six years of experience in enterprise HR technology systems OR High School Diploma with ten years of experience and HR tech experience
  • Three years of supervisory/management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Organizational skills
  • Leadership and people management
  • Workday experience (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Query design and reporting (basic)
