Overview In this role you will support the HR function to drive a high performance culture across the plant. You will partner with plant leadership to align people practices with the business goals and promote ownership, learning, and continuous improvement. You will handle essential HR processes, respond to employee inquiries, and ensure compliant, efficient delivery of HR services. You will work cross functionally to recruit, onboard, develop, and recognize employees while maintaining strong employee relations and policy adherence. Responsibilities- Provide daily HR support to manufacturing employees and maintain positive employee relations and engagement
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions; collaborate with managers to define required skills and competencies
- Prepare offer letters and new hire packages; conduct new hire orientation and recognition programs
- Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibilities
- Organize and lead employee wellness and engagement activities
- Coordinate performance review programs for effectiveness, compliance, and equity
- Collaborate with Plant Leadership on job description changes and compensation
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 3+ year of relevant HR experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management is preferred
