Overview

As Contract Administrator, you will manage complex government and commercial contracts for supply, services, and construction projects. You will liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. You help shape proposals, track changes, and oversee contract performance, including export controls and regulatory requirements. This role supports a cross-functional workflow in an aerospace environment focused on compliance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage government and commercial contracts and subcontracts for supply, services, and construction projects
  • Maintain customer relations and liaison between customers and subcontractors
  • Review terms, conditions, and certifications for contractual compliance
  • Monitor contracts for scheduling, budget, changes, and customer requirements; provide status updates
  • Assist bid and proposal activity; review final quote file for accuracy and conformity
  • Coordinate contract modifications, extensions, or change of scope with internal teams and customers
  • Prepare government export forms when required; ensure regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR, FCPA)
  • Ensure proper contract documentation in electronic systems and reporting to management
  • Support PMs with project processes and ensure AS9100/ISO compliance
  • Resolve financial issues related to contracts and assist with invoicing
  • Prepare reports for quarterly updates and board meetings
  • Interface with functional departments to complete contract/purchase orders and related tasks
  • Ensure adherence to quality policy and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete records and participate in audits and training as required
  • Perform other duties to support efficient operations
Key requirements
  • Associate degree or 5 years of related experience in aerospace/military, energy services, contract administration, or manufacturing
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with government and commercial contracts and subcontracting
  • Knowledge of export controls and regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR) and FCPA
  • Ability to manage bids, proposals, change orders, and contract modifications
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across multiple departments
  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO policies and procedures
