Overview In this role you will drive the development of new concrete admixture products and provide technical support to manufacturing and customers. You will lead product design and planning efforts, establish QA requirements, and transfer innovations to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance, publish research and trial results, and contribute to long-range technology planning. This position offers the chance to shape materials for construction while supporting Sika's sustainability-driven mission.

Responsibilities- Develop new products per customer specifications and lead DOE and Design FEMA for product development
- Plan and participate in long-term product/technology roadmaps
- Evaluate testing instruments and recommend capital expenditures
- Define QA requirements to ensure product quality and performance
- Transfer newly developed products/technologies to the processing group
- Perform initial material testing and obtain customer approvals
- Provide technical support to manufacturing to assure product quality
- Support QS 9000, PCP and PSP processes
- Maintain accurate records and laboratory notebook practices
- Publish Research Proposals, Field Trial Proposals, and Product Releases; publish progress and trip reports
- Initiate and attend technical presentations from raw material suppliers
- Maintain a safe, tidy, harassment-free work environment and keep equipment in good condition
- Scale-up production, reporting, and presenting results
- Contribute to teamwork and qualification of alternative raw materials for Concrete admixtures
- Travel up to 10% domestically
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Geology, or closely related field with five years of related experience OR Master's degree with three years of related experience
