Overview In this Architect IV role, you will lead and execute multidisciplinary architectural work across all design phases for complex projects, ensuring code compliance and constructible outcomes. You'll serve as the primary architectural contact for clients and collaborators, guiding teams through design, documentation and construction administration. You'll mentor staff, oversee quality and coordinate with engineering and construction partners to deliver high impact facilities. This Raleigh position features a hybrid schedule and opportunities to shape significant life sciences and manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities- Lead and independently execute all design phases for complex projects
- Produce comprehensive construction documents, life safety plans, and details for large projects
- Develop studies, presentations, and reports and present to stakeholders
- Apply International Building Code and regulatory requirements to projects
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams for constructible designs
- Participate in drawings reviews, coordination meetings, and quality checks
- Support construction activities with RFI responses, submittal reviews, and progress reports
- Assist PM with resource planning, budget, scope, schedule, and deliverable quality
- Quality-check documents and drive project quality across complex designs
- Mentor architectural staff and act as Architect of Record for projects
Key requirements- Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, and/or D.Arch) or international equivalent
- History of cross-discipline project coordination and execution
- Ability to develop complete Construction Documents and Specifications for complex projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
- Architectural license in good standing plus NCARB or ability to obtain
- Relevant AEC firm experience
- At least ten years of professional experience with minimum three years in strategic/planning/programming
