Employee Relations Partner

Overview

In this role you will advise management on employee relations and compliance, helping shape policies and programs. You will partner with leadership and legal to address complex issues, investigations, and hearings. You'll train managers, support organizational surveys, and drive action plans to improve workplace climate. You work closely with HR and cross-functional partners to ensure confidentiality and lawful, fair resolutions. This is a pivotal role for sustaining a compliant, values-driven healthcare culture.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and expert guidance on complex HR issues based on policy interpretation and regulations
  • Participate in creating and updating HR programs
  • Support reductions in force with leadership
  • Train managers on employment law, compliance, conflict resolution, and performance management
  • Coach management on resolving employee relations issues
  • Build relationships with internal partners to understand business needs and offer solutions
  • Conduct internal investigations with security, management, and legal; report findings and recommendations
  • Lead and support the Employee Survey Process, including design, rollout, reporting, and action planning
  • Perform periodic climate assessments and recommend improvements
  • Oversee HR On-Boarding for new people leaders
  • Distribute relevant information to the organization
  • Coordinate with unemployment vendor and participate in hearings
  • Assist legal in responses to lawsuits and discrimination charges
  • Administer ADA processes
  • Investigate employee grievances using the Resolution Request Process
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee data
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in related field
  • 1 year of professional HR experience in Employee Relations
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
