Overview As Senior Actuary - Life and Annuity Pricing Modeler, you will develop and maintain pricing models for life and annuity products, collaborating with Pricing, R&D, Valuation, and New Business teams. You'll lead pricing model development, validate models, and support deployment in a high-speed C# pricing system. The role sits within Enterprise Modeling and focuses on delivering cutting-edge modeling and reporting capabilities to drive growth and competitive advantage. Responsibilities- Lead pricing model development projects and act as modeling Subject Matter Expert for life and annuity products
- Develop and maintain pricing models using a C system; apply product knowledge and regulatory understanding
- Perform model development, testing, and debugging; peer review colleague changes
- Collaborate with other modeling teams on methodology and technology; validate models against valuation and ALM
- Support pricing and research actuaries with competition analysis, profit studies, and speed to market
- Educate model users on new features and support deployment; ensure alignment with Model Risk Management standards
Key requirements- 6+ years of actuarial modeling and coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proficiency in C#, Python, or other programming languages (preferred)
- Strong collaboration, independence, and project management abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team on long-term projects
