Overview

In this role, you lead construction site operations from planning to handover, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion. You will manage subcontractors and coordinate with the Design Group, Project Manager, and clients to deliver industrial facilities. The position emphasizes safety culture, schedule discipline, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You'll work across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee site operations and subcontractor performance to meet schedule and budget
  • Promote and enforce the company safety program and culture
  • Lead project oversight with focus on safety, quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency
  • Read and interpret plans; update redlines; ensure subs update drawings
  • Manage pre-construction logistics, schedules, and procurement plans
  • Coordinate inspections and progress towards Certificate of Occupancy
  • Lead on-site safety meetings and maintain daily logs and Procore documentation
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, look-ahead planning, and RFIs
  • Ensure contract documents are current and prevent rework
  • Foster effective communication with client, subs, and design team; manage stakeholder coordination
  • Travel to regional sites and adapt to extended work hours as needed
  • Post-construction: finalize punch lists, as-builts, and close-out reporting
Key requirements
  • Ten years of experience as construction site superintendent on industrial projects
  • Experience with industrial facilities and structures (e.g., food & beverage, packaging, life sciences)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, CAD
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods; flexible work shifts
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
