Overview

In this role you will support DOE Hanford by developing and delivering process training and documentation to enable contract management and mission support. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and training across contracting and administration activities, ensuring compliance and effective knowledge transfer. The position offers exposure to government programs, process documentation systems, and stakeholder collaboration at a national consulting firm. You will contribute to shaping how complex programs are managed and executed.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in weekly interface meetings to align efforts and priorities
  • Collaborate with Source Evaluation Boards, Transition Managers, and DOE staff to understand and implement contract management plans
  • Facilitate contract management business process development teams covering invoicing, iCAS workflows, PEMP, CPARS, and related processes
  • Develop and deploy business process documentation for DOE contract management teams using iCAS and DPMS
  • Develop and deliver business process training to DOE staff
  • Support AMMS in creating, configuring, and distributing communication artifacts (wall charts, portals, databases)
  • Follow DOE process documentation requirements, including DPMS procedures and GAO guidelines
Key requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a similar role within the past five years
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in contract management under FAR Part 15 (Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, IDIQ)
  • Experience leading organizational culture change and team facilitation
  • Strong analytical, tracking, monitoring, assessment, and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and program/project management skills
  • Experience with contractor performance evaluation including scope, schedule, and cost variance analysis
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Willingness to travel as approved
  • Knowledge of Hanford mission and support activities (preferred)
