Overview In this role you drive the design and delivery of fire alarm systems for client projects, shaping concepts and leading design efforts with a cross-functional team. You translate client needs into drawings, specifications, and on-site guidance, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations. You collaborate with peers, SMEs, and BIM designers to resolve issues and support construction administration. Your work supports safe, scalable installations and effective coordination with customers and vendors. This position offers a mix of remote and on-site work and a clear impact on project outcomes and safety compliance.

Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Strong knowledge and design experience with Fire Alarm Systems and VESDA systems
- Autodesk Revit design experience
- Experience in the field installing, inspecting or testing fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with Notifier, Edwards, and Xtralis
- Knowledge of IBC, IFC, NFPA101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
- Knowledge and application of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements
