Overview In this Bridge Design Build Project Manager role, you lead complex bridge replacement and repair initiatives for DOT clients, guiding multi-disciplinary teams from concept to delivery. You will serve as a trusted advisor to public agencies and shape resilient, constructible bridge solutions. You will balance technical depth with strong client partnerships and project leadership to drive successful outcomes on high-profile projects. This is a senior, mentor level position that integrates design build excellence with business development. Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end bridge replacement and repair project delivery for DOT clients (scope, budget, schedule, client relationships)
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, setting vision and strategy
- Develop proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout documents
- Oversee multiple projects with QA/QC and adherence to design-build best practices
- Interpret client contracts and manage client relationships to meet needs
- Engage in marketing and business development with target clients
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required)
- PE license (required)
- 10+ years progressive engineering experience (minimum 8 years PM experience)
- Experience with MassDOT, CTDOT, or RIDOT
- Strong design-build delivery experience
- Proficiency in engineering modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation)
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, Deltek Vision preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
