Overview In this role you will lead workforce planning for Arcadis Americas, shaping 12-week forecasts and proactive capacity insights to support Service leaders. You will supervise a team of Resource Planners and partner with Talent Acquisition to align staffing with demand. You'll drive data-driven decision making, manage deployment across accounts, and elevate planning data quality. This position offers the chance to influence multi-regional workforce strategy and contribute to sustainable project outcomes.

Responsibilities- Own the 12-week forecast for Program Management, including supply and demand variance
- Create data-driven resource forecasts to enable proactive decisions
- Provide recruitment recommendations to Service Directors and TA partners
- Maximize talent agility and optimize use of named resource requests
- Monitor weekly billable vs planned time and drive productivity improvements
- Escalate risks to leadership and prepare contingency staffing plans
- Maintain accurate workforce planning data (WFP Tags, people mapping, capacity reporting)
- Drive deployment opportunities to the Global Excellence Centre and optimize resource mix
- Support workforce integration and transformation projects in the Americas
- Lead and develop the Resource Planning team and act as regional PM contact
- Influence project pursuits with detailed resource planning input
- Implement workforce planning processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Lead change management initiatives and oversee resourcing policies
- Ensure SLAs for demand requests are met and optimize non-billable time for productive work
- Provide training on workforce planning tools and processes
Key requirements- Experience in workforce planning, resourcing, forecasting or analytical roles in the Americas within AEC or related professional services
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management with regional service directors and TA partners
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with ability to interpret workforce data and identify risks
- Knowledge of regional talent trends, labor markets and basic employment law
- Experience leading resource planning teams and improving forecast accuracy
- Ability to guide decisions balancing priorities across projects, sectors and constraints
- Understanding of commercial drivers like utilization, billability, and cost management
- End-to-end workforce planning lifecycle experience (forecasting, capacity, deployment, recruitment planning, performance tracking)
- Leadership style that enables accountability and continuous improvement
- Degree-level education in a related discipline; MBA or Master's preferred
