Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Tomball, TX
Schedule: Monday Friday, hours per week

Pay: $120 000 per year (DOE)
Overview:
Our medical practice in Tomball is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to support surgeons and patients across the full surgical care continuum. New grads and experienced PAs alike are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons in the operating room, including exposure, retraction, hemostasis, and suturing
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations, including histories, physical exams, and risk assessment
- Round on hospitalized patients and manage post-operative care, including monitoring recovery and addressing complications
- Develop and implement perioperative medication and pain management plans with the surgical team
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, suture and staple management, and minor in-office procedures
- Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery expectations
- Document encounters and care plans accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support safe discharges and continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Texas
- General surgery or surgical assisting experience preferred
- Wound care and minor office-based procedure experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
