Locum OB Hospitalist Kentucky (compact state) Flexible scheduling! Details:Location: Lexington, KY (compact state)Duration: As soon as credentialed for ongoing locum coverage, 6+ monthsSchedule: 810 inpatient shifts per month, in 45 day blocks of 12-hour shifts. Scheduling based on provider availability. Holiday availability requestedShift: Days 8a8p or nights 8p8a, with rounding during the shiftUrgent Dates Needed: (8a8p): 11/2311/29, 12/1312/16, 12/2012/26Scope: OB Hospitalist - available for obstetric emergencies on L&D, antepartum, and mother-baby. Rounds, performs deliveries, manages labor, and works with MFM to accept transfers (acts as an extender for MFM). Low- and high-risk OB, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, routine and complicated L&D, VBACs, C-sections, office gynecology, and circumcisions. GYN surgery not required. Familiarity with MFM preferred, not requiredVolume: High-volume birth center with 400+ births per month (5,000+ deliveries in 2025, the second-largest OB census in Kentucky).
