What You ll Do
- Provide direct, high-quality Family Medicine services to patients in the community.
- Evaluate patients by reviewing records, reports, and exam findings to support diagnosis and care planning.
- Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, heart disease).
- Prescribe or administer medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other indicated treatments.
- Educate patients on prevention, lifestyle, and wellness topics (diet, activity, hygiene).
- Collaborate with treatment teams, families, advanced practice providers, consultants, and community specialists to coordinate care.
What You Need
Required - Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD/DO)
- Active Texas physician license with no sanctions
- Current DEA registration
- Current Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Controlled Substance registration
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Current CPR certification (maintained throughout the assignment)
- Ability to meet facility documentation timeframe requirements
Preferred - Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and structured documentation standards
