Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician
Join a dedicated healthcare facility in Caro, Michigan, seeking a Family Medicine Physician for outpatient clinic coverage. This position involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with participation in after-hours call based on rotation. The role is critical to addressing a current recruitment gap in the team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient care to a diverse patient population (90% Adult/Geriatric, 10% Pediatric).
- Manage an average of 15-20 patients per day.
- Participate in after-hours call on a rotating basis.
- Provide adult and pediatric general outpatient care.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, including Medical Assistants and a Receptionist.
- Utilize in-building diagnostic imaging and point-of-care testing services.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (Required).
- Able to consider Internal Medicine specialists.
- BLS and ACLS certification (Required).
- Active Michigan medical license (Required). Candidates applying for licensure may also be considered.
- Preference for candidates who are local.
- Availability should be noted at the time of name clear.
- Copy of NPDB self-query required within 30 days for presentation (Required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan medical license.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
