A Place At Home - Glenside is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who can provide exceptional care to our clients-including individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. If you have
American Sign Language (ASL) experience, we would love to have you on our team!
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Communicate effectively with clients, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing (ASL skills highly preferred)
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Support mobility and transfers when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a caregiver (home care, facility, or personal experience)
- ASL (American Sign Language) experience strongly preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with all clients
- Must have reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
- Ability to pass a background check and meet PA state requirements
- CNA, HHA, or DSP certification is a plus (not required)
