Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber / Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience installing, repairing, and servicing commercial plumbing systems and can work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and professionalism.
This position involves commercial construction and service work at schools, offices, medical facilities, retail spaces, restaurants, industrial buildings, and other commercial properties. Candidates must be willing to travel during the workweek as projects require.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems
- Install domestic water, sanitary sewer, vent, gas, and storm drainage systems
- Install and repair commercial plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine effective solutions
- Perform testing, inspections, and quality checks
- Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Travel to project locations during the workweek as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
- Experience with PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, ProPress, and no-hub systems
- Ability to read commercial plumbing plans
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel during the workweek for out-of-town projects (overnight travel may be required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders and lifts
- OSHA certification and plumbing license are a plus
