Job Title: Test Analyzer Technician

Position Summary
Aimtron is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to support our electronic manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic assemblies and systems. This is not an entry-level position and requires practical knowledge of electronic test procedures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and diagnostic testing on PCB assemblies and electronic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies down to component level
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test systems
- Record test results and maintain accurate documentation of failures and repairs
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
- Support new product introduction (NPI) testing and validation activities
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures
- Identify process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in electronic testing or related field (EMS environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Experience using test and measurement equipment
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics or related field
- Experience in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE)
