Providence Consulting CPA, PLLC is a tech forward CPA firm serving closely held businesses, their owners and families in the Charlotte region. Our close-knit team handles tax compliance, tax planning, accounting services, and business advisory work. This includes Partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corp, and Individual taxation. At a firm our size, you work directly with the owner and with clients, and your work makes a visible difference.
Role Description:
We're looking for self-motivated Tax Senior who wants to work at a small firm where they can have broad freedom to get work done. Want to work at an office where the firm owner is excited to hear about new tools and technology? Keep reading.
You must be able to prepare and review simple returns independently; prepare complex returns for owner review; and be ready to start mentoring newer staff. You'll work on a wide range of business and individual clients, take part in planning projects, and get direct exposure to the firm owner and clients. Work is hybrid 3-days in office, 2-days work from home. During tax season we are in the office 5 days a week.
Pay based on experience, happy to pay well for the right fit.
Qualifications
- Prepare complex partnership (1065), S corporation (1120-S), C corporation (1120), individual (1040) and multi-state returns.
- 2-5 years of tax preparation experience in public accounting.
- Solid working knowledge of Individual, Partnership, and S-Corporation returns.
- CPA license preferred, EA also accepted.
- Experience with UltraTax CS preferred.
