Be Driver Under the Kirby Carriers Authority
Tired of being a truck number at a mega-carrier? Tired of calling a dispatcher who doesn't know your name? Kirby Carriers is launching its own authority out of Little Rock, and we're hiring the first driver to run under it.
This isn't our first rodeo. Our management team currently operates more than 70 tractors leased to a major carrier and runs its own heavy-duty truck shop. We know trucking, we know equipment, and we know what good drivers need. What's new is our own authority, and we want the right professional behind the wheel of truck .
As Driver , you'll help set the standard for how this operation runs. Your experience and your voice will matter here, and you'll have a direct line to the people making decisions. We're looking for a seasoned professional who takes pride in the job, runs safe, and treats the equipment like it's their own.
The Run
- OTR dry van freight
- Out during the week, home every weekend for your 34-hour reset
- Based out of Little Rock, AR
The Equipment
- 2021 International LT625 with a 15-liter engine
- Equipped with an APU for comfort on your downtime
- Maintained by our own in-house heavy-duty shop, so repairs and PMs get handled by people who answer to us, not a third party
Pay
- 65 cents per mile
- Detention pay of $25/hour after the first 2 hours

What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 years of verifiable OTR experience
- Clean safety record
- Consistent, thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection habits
- A professional who communicates well and takes ownership of the job
- Current DOT medical card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
