About the Position TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class B Box Truck Drivers for local delivery operations based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position offers competitive hourly pay, a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule, and home daily. Drivers will deliver paper and cleaning products to local customers using box trucks, with light freight handling required.
Pay & Schedule - $24.00 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross of $1,000
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM start
Job Details - Equipment: CDL Class B box trucks
- Freight: Paper and cleaning products
- Handling: Light-touch freight using manual and electric pallet jacks; offload using a hand truck
- Delivery area: GA (Rome, Athens, Pikeville, and Dayton) and Monteagle, TN - between 15 and 20 stops per day
Key Responsibilities - Safely operate a CDL Class B box truck on assigned local delivery routes.
- Deliver paper and cleaning products to customer locations.
- Unload freight using pallet jacks and dollies as needed.
- Verify deliveries and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Minimum Requirements - Valid CDL Class B license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and dollies
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
