What You ll Do
- Provide family medicine or internal medicine care in an outpatient clinic setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of patient health concerns
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Perform follow-up care and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with medical assistants, RNs, LVNs, behavioral health professionals, and other support staff
- Document patient care using the Epic electronic medical record system
- Manage an average daily volume of approximately 18 patients
What You Need
Required: - Active California physician license; new licensing is not available for this assignment
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background
- Minimum two years of clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA registration
- Ability to speak Medical Spanish or Spanish
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or qualifying Internal Medicine board eligibility
Preferred: - Experience in an outpatient family practice or community clinic setting
- Availability for approximately four weeks per month; part-time availability may also be considered
- Clean professional and malpractice history
