Clinical RoleRecruitWell is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for ongoing locums Neurosurgery coverage in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role includes both inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities, with coverage needed approximately 2-3 weeks per month.

Position Highlights

Approximately 8-10 scheduled clinic patients per day

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Provide inpatient Neurosurgery rounding
Evaluate and manage hospitalized Neurosurgery patients
Provide outpatient Neurosurgery clinic coverage
Manage scheduled clinic patients
Complete admissions as required
Provide telehealth care as appropriate
Collaborate with Neurosurgeons, nursing staff, and other clinical teams
Complete timely clinical documentation
Support & Technology
Established employed NP and PA team
Outpatient clinic located within the hospital
Stroke Certified hospital
Level II Trauma Center
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Prior Neurosurgery experience required
BLS required
Must be comfortable with both inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities
Must be available approximately 2-3 weeks per month

Hospital-based Neurosurgery program
Combination of inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth care
Coverage coordinated with existing employed NPs and PAs
Flexible clinic scheduling
