Kitchen Manager - Polished Casual Italian Restaurant (New Restaurant Opening)

We are seeking a career-driven Kitchen Manager to open a brand-new polished casual Italian restaurant with a growing, award-winning organization. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity: you will build and train the kitchen team, own the standards, and set the culture from day one, with a clear path to grow as the brand continues to expand.
What You'll Do
- Lead all back-of-house operations for a new polished casual Italian restaurant opening
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop the opening kitchen team
- Own execution of scratch-made pastas, sauces, and Italian classics with consistent, quality plate presentation
- Establish systems for food quality, consistency, safety, and sanitation from day one
- Manage food costs, labor, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Partner closely with the General Manager to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Build an accountable, positive kitchen culture where people want to stay and grow
- Identify and develop future kitchen leaders as the organization expands
What We're Looking For
- Proven Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in polished casual, upscale casual, or scratch-kitchen concepts
- Strong command of scratch execution; Italian cuisine experience is a strong plus
- New restaurant opening experience is a strong plus
- A hands-on leader who builds, teaches, and develops teams
- Strong financial acumen: food cost, labor, inventory, and P&L partnership
- High personal standards, attention to detail, and pride in every plate
- A career-driven mindset and the desire to grow with an expanding brand
