Spire is hiring 20 contract Med Surg RNs in Billings, MT. This is an on-site contract position.
Pay: $2,557 per week
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, block scheduling available, travel pairs allowed, 5:1 patient ratio at night
Duties:
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards and the state Board of Nursing
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Provide health teaching and counseling
- Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
