Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

• Emergency Medicine NP or PA opportunity in Macon, GA

• Cross-credentialing at Piedmont Macon North and Piedmont Macon Medical Center Emergency Departments

• Emergency Medicine experience preferred

• Opportunity to manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions

• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills valued

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN and NP licenses

• DEA registration with Georgia address

• Board certified through AANP or ANCC

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Active, unrestricted Georgia PA license

• DEA registration with Georgia address

• NCCPA certification

All candidates must provide:

• ACLS

• PALS

• ATLS - trauma course accepted in lieu of ATLS

• TB screening documentation

• Flu vaccination documentation, when applicable

• Clinical activity/case logs for the past 2 years

• CME/CEU documentation for the past 2 years

• Sponsoring physician name for application submission

Professional liability coverage must provide minimum limits of $1M per occurrence / $3M annual aggregate and include coverage for allegations of sexual and physical abuse. A separate $10M excess liability policy must attach to the professional malpractice coverage.

Additional insurance requirements include commercial general liability, workers' compensation, employer's liability, and umbrella/excess coverage as applicable.
