Primary Care Physician (PCP)

Overview:
Our primary care practice in Flower Mound is seeking a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to deliver full-spectrum care for patients of all ages, with an emphasis on prevention, patient education, and lasting relationships. New grads and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply for this role with a partnership track and a generous productivity bonus.
Position Offers:
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum primary care for adult and pediatric patients, including wellness exams, age-appropriate screenings, and immunizations
- Diagnose and manage acute conditions and chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD) using evidence-based guidelines and individualized, preventive care plans
- Perform and interpret on-site diagnostics, including EKGs, echocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, and rapid labs
- Perform minor procedures and specialist-level care, including laceration repairs, injections, skin biopsies, cyst drainages, Pap smears, and hormonal counseling
- Coordinate transitions of care, including hospital discharge planning, specialist referrals, and home-health follow-up
- Educate patients and families on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and self-care, and review and manage medications
- Offer same-day and urgent appointments, partnering with nursing and support staff for a seamless patient experience
- Document visits accurately in the EHR for quality care and coding compliance
Qualifications:
- Active, current Physician (MD/DO) licensure in Texas
- Familiarity with quality improvement, value-based care, population health, and telehealth platforms preferred
- Spanish or other second language skills preferred
