Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in the general Norfolk area that needs a CT Surgeon to help out with holiday coverage this December-January. Look forward to a fast tracked credentialing process and low commitment opportunity that may have intermittent call coverage needs for you to select from in 2027, but do not require any firm ongoing commitment. Seeking 24-Hour Call Coverage:
- 7am 12/21 - 7am 1/4/2027 (14 consecutive days, Christmas + New Years coverage)
Details for Assignment :
Active + unrestricted Virginia license required
Board Certification required
Seeking CT Surgery 24-hour ED call coverage
Will work an average of 4-6 hours per day on site (lower volume on weekends generally)
CT APP Support available for first assist & inpatient support
Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (VATS) experience/skill is preferred; Robotics are available while on assignment but not required
Seeing mid-low volumes currently and anticipate 3-5 cases per week, 1-2 per weekend
Epic EMR inpatient, Cerner outpatient, 295+ bed facility, not a designated trauma facility
