Shifts available:
2nd shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:20pm to 1:50am.
3rd shift/weekend shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:00am - 6:00pm.

Job Duties:
- Layout and inspect minor parts when given the part, the part drawing and the necessary
inspection equipment.
- Layout and inspect some major parts when given the part, the part drawing and the necessary inspection equipment. Inspector grade 3 will be assigned for guidance and training.
- Verify some processes when given the process certification, the parts/product, the process
specification and the necessary equipment. An inspector class A will be assigned for guidance and training as complexity dictates.
- Complete necessary inspection documentation. (For example, but not limited to, First Article Inspection Reports, Acceptance Sampling Reports, Rejection Tags, Manufacturing Work Order, etc.).
- Enter necessary inspection documentation information into dedicated computer system when required during normal inspection functions.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing Awareness education and training.
- Must regularly maintain good attendance per policy each attendance year.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to use all inspection equipment necessary to perform the essential functions
listed above. (I.e., caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc.).
- Must be able to read and interpret part drawings to the extent necessary to perform
inspections noted above.
- Must be able to read and interpret process specifications to the extent necessary to perform
the inspections noted above.
- Must have demonstrated understanding of the requirements and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to be able to perform the inspections noted above. Satisfactory demonstrated ability to find interpretations with the assistance of the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard, ANSI/AMSE Y14.5.

Physical Job Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate various types of inspection equipment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the inspection of product.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis. (Assistance may be provided by other
personnel.)
- Ability to hear and see with correction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate of completion.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with precision machined parts or equivalent demonstrated
proficiency, as demonstrated by hands-on inspection proficiency test.
- Training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, as evidenced by a completion certificate.
- Ability to read, write, and spell at 12th grade level.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically.
- Experience with Sheffield Cordax Measuring Machines.
- Experience with Boeing product drawings and specifications.
- Suggest ideas to eliminate waste and improve processes.
- Help promote change by demonstrating a willingness to adopt new processes and business
practices.
