The facility supports a collaborative interventional cardiology program with an existing group of cardiologists and strong institutional support for locum providers.
Opportunity:Board Certified - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:- Locum Interventional Cardiologist coverage with availability of 3-7 days per month
- Coverage dates include: Nov 23-26, Dec 1-4, and Dec 29-Jan 1
- Practice setting is Inpatient/EMTALA Call with no ambulatory or clinic work required
- Adult patient population
- Documentation system/EMR: Epic Cupid
- Required procedures include Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, and Coronary Angiograms
- Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital
- General Cardiology consults as needed
- Reading studies to include EKG, ECHOs, and Stress Tests (including nuclear stress)
- Active Kentucky license required; IMLC considered if provider has 3-7 days/month availability
- Board Certification required
- Active DEA required
- ACLS required
- Must list availability for specified coverage dates at time of name clear
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
