QA Lead

Phillips Mushroom Farms is looking for a QA Lead to join our team! Oversee Growing Division, Packing and Processing.

1. Asst QA Manager in maintaining Food Safety Plan
2. Ensure compliance with SQF standards and food safety regulations
3. Backup point of contact for regulatory personnel (USDA, FDA, )
4. Backup person to maintain the Gluten Free Program
5. Work with operating staff to maintain quality procedures
6. Work with QA Manager to implement production, quality, health and safety standards
7. Help to investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
8. Communicate with vendors and customers
9. Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions
10. Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
11. Label compliance (nutritional facts, GS1, USDA/FDA)
12. Perform quality control and assurance tasks, review records daily

Must have PQCI or HAACP certification. SPF recommended but not required.

Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm Saturday 7am-end of production

Pay based on experience
