Hospitalist Physician

A health services system in New York City is seeking a Physician for inpatient and hospitalist coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: In-person hospital setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and hospitalist coverage for assigned patients
• Complete all medical record documentation directly in the electronic medical record
• Respond to MyChart messages and internal communications in a timely manner
• Take appropriate steps to address appeals as they are presented
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team

Qualifications:

• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
• Active physician credentials and the ability to provide inpatient hospital-based care
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment

Desired Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical record systems
• Familiarity with patient portal messaging and clinical communication workflows
• Previous inpatient or hospitalist practice experience
