Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to lighting, appliances, locks, furniture, and fixtures
Maintain hot tubs and spa equipment
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and inventory
Collaborate with housekeeping and innkeepers to resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
2+ years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in hospitality or commercial buildings
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces)
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Comfortable with completing projects through a digital task list
Preferred Skills
HVAC, paint, plumbing, electrical.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
