Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Interior) ()

Develop and execute mechanical designs for vehicle interior systems, from initial concept through prototyping and full production, while ensuring alignment with costs, performance, and manufacturing requirements.

Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience designing vehicle concepts; conducting studio engineering and packaging; utilizing 3D CAD - CATIA; Simsolid for FEA stress analysis; GD&T; implementing design for manufacturing processes; and applying Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) in vehicle design. 10% domestic travel. Occasional telecommuting permitted.
