Manufacturing Technician II
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM
Overtime: As needed
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician will help assemble, manufacture, package, and label medical device products. This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided. Employees must follow safety procedures, SOPs, GMP/cGMP, and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Assemble or glue medical device components.
- Wash and clean components/equipment.
- Package, seal, and label finished products.
- Prepare products for sterilization.
- Operate basic production equipment such as sealers and autoclaves.
- Keep the production area clean and organized.
- Receive and move production supplies.
- Follow safety, quality, SOP, and GMP requirements.
- Wear required PPE and complete assigned training.
Work Environment
- May work in a cleanroom environment.
- May need to wear scrubs, hairnets/bonnets, masks, gloves, safety glasses, and other PPE.
- Some overtime and rotating duties may be required.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit or stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs individually and up to 65 lbs with a team.
- Comfortable with repetitive hand movements and frequent handling of objects.
- 20/25 vision required, with or without corrective lenses.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Able to understand safety and work instructions.
- Basic math skills.
