Role: Manufacturing Technician
Duration: 12 Months
Location: St. Paul, MN 55114
Pay: $ 20/hr
Shift: Mon - Fri, 5:30am - 2pm (Other shift also available)
Position Summary
- Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products. Manufacturing Technicians will be trained and follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job. Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of our medical devices and associated device documentation. Equipment used by the Manufacturing Technician will depend on the specific job
Essential Job Duties
- Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to:
- Quashing components or equipment
- Rapping components and or equipment for sterilization
- Assembly or gluing of component
- Packaging and sealing of devices
- preparing devices for sterilization
- final packaging or labeling of products
- Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.
- Operate general production equipment (sealers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
- Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor
Required Qualifications/Certifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred not required for this entry level role
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
