Urology Nurse Practitioner

Job description

  • ASAP-Ongoing
  • Coverage: approximately 1-2 weeks per month
  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Call: 1:3 or 1:4
  • Beeper, 15 min response time required. Call is for Assigned Patients
  • Duties: see clinic patients; surgical first assist for open and endoscopic cases; robotic assist; call coverage
  • Patient encounters: 10-16 per shift
  • Facility trauma level: II; Pediatric facility level: II
  • Cerner EMR
  • Hospital is Stroke Certified
  • Support Staff: 1 RN, 3 MAs, 4 NP/PAs, 7 Office/Staff
  • Clinical and surgical urology experience; able to first assist and take call
  • Certifications: BC or BE
  • Robotic experience preferred; cystoscopy skills a plus
  • EHR: Cerner experience preferred (not required)
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days, temps available.
