Schedule:

  • Weekday Coverage: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 6:00 PM (1 week per month)

  • Weekend Call: Friday 6:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM (1 weekend per month)
    Call Required: Yes Weekend call + some general cardiology coverage

Clinical Details

  • Setting: Hospital-based (primarily inpatient)

  • Patient Population: Adults (18+)

  • Patient Volume: 15 inpatients per day; 2 3 device implants daily

  • Support Staff: 1 Electrophysiology APP

  • Procedures:

    • Implantable cardiac devices

    • Ablation therapies

    • Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs)

    • Cardioversions with moderate sedation

  • Equipment: CARTO, Abbott, and Opal HDx mapping systems

Additional Details

  • Combination of hourly weekday coverage and weekend call

  • Malpractice and Logistics included
