Independent Mobile Diesel Mechanic - Dedicated Fleet Opportunity
Location: Frederick, Maryland
We are seeking an experienced Independent Mobile Diesel/Fleet Mechanic interested in becoming the primary maintenance and repair partner for our growing commercial bus fleet.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced mechanic who wants to work independently while developing a substantial, long-term relationship with a growing fleet operation.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our fleet is expanding significantly, with continued growth planned and the potential to reach approximately 50 buses.
We are looking to establish a relationship with one highly dependable independent mechanic who can become our primary resource for ongoing fleet maintenance and repairs.
This is intended to be much more than occasional service calls. We are looking for someone interested in consistent, recurring fleet work and the opportunity to grow alongside our operation.
SERVICES MAY INCLUDE
• Preventive maintenance and scheduled service
• Diesel diagnostics and mechanical repairs
• Brake and suspension repairs
• Electrical troubleshooting
• DOT/inspection preparation and related repairs
• Mobile/on-site service
• Breakdown and emergency repairs
• Ongoing fleet maintenance and repair needs
IDEAL PARTNER
We are looking for someone who:
• Has commercial bus, truck, heavy-duty diesel, or fleet maintenance experience
• Has their own tools and reliable transportation/mobile service capability
• Can independently diagnose and complete repairs
• Is dependable, responsive, and communicates well
• Is interested in consistent, long-term fleet work
• Has an entrepreneurial mindset and wants to develop a strong independent business relationship
Rates and compensation structure are negotiable based on experience, capabilities, availability, and services provided.
