Urgent Care LVN
Pay:$37.17/hour
Location: Cypress, TX (city/state only)
Type: Contract / Temporary
Schedule: 75 hours bi-weekly, including every other weekend (shifts generally fall within clinic operating hours)
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced LVN to support a fast-paced, patient-facing urgent care/clinic environment. In this role, you'll deliver evidence-based care, support patient education, and document thoroughly in the EMR while collaborating with the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and perform routine clinical assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as appropriate (oral/injectable/topical, etc.)
- Monitor and document vital signs and treatment responses
- Perform and support clinical services such as vaccines, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Complete accurate documentation in an electronic medical record (Epic preferred)
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked clinical environment
- Provide strong patient communication and support care coordination/resources as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted LVN license (must be in good standing)
- BLS certification (must remain valid beyond the start of assignment)
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year related healthcare experience
- Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
- Experience with vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- EMR experience (Epic preferred)
