Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation
- Pay rate: $21.60 per hour
- Work hours/shifts: Sun, Wed-Fri, 3:30pm-1:30am; Sun-Thu, 10:00pm-6:00am
Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities:
- Process prescription exceptions, resolve claim rejects, and conduct outreach to members and physicians.
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the fulfillment system.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalate prescription questions to pharmacists.
- Assist with inbound and outbound calls from patients or physicians.
- Operate automated machinery, sort medications, and transition inventory through workflow stages.
- Count, fill prescriptions, affix labels, and package medications for shipment.
- Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing and correcting information, then resubmitting for processing.
Pharmacy Technician 2 QUALIFICATIONS:
Critical Information:
- Remote, hybrid, or on-site: On-site
- Work hours/shifts: Sun, Wed-Fri, 3:30pm-1:30am; Sun-Thu, 10:00pm-6:00am
- Compliance: Will support healthcare and pharmacy operations; access to PHI required
- Environment: Utilizing robotic technology within central pharmacy centers
Education/Licenses Needed:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of Texas
