Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (MALE)

In this vital role, you will perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams to help Veterans receive the benefits and care they have earned through their service.

Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Perform focused physical examinations and medical histories for Veterans seeking disability benefits.
- Clinical Assessment: Review medical records and utilize your clinical judgment to provide objective findings on service-connected conditions.
- Documentation: Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to complete thorough, timely, and accurate medical-legal reports.
- Patient Advocacy: Provide a compassionate and empathetic experience for Veterans, ensuring they feel heard and respected throughout the examination process.
- Streamlined Workflow: Focus exclusively on assessments and diagnostics; this role involves no ongoing treatment, prescribing, or long-term case management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred, but motivated new graduates with a strong clinical foundation are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with Veterans from all branches of service.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in medical documentation and the ability to multitask in a professional clinical setting.
