Position Highlights

• Ongoing locum opportunity 1 week/month (Mon 7a Mon 7a)
• Inpatient-only, acute care setting
• Multispecialty group & hospital
• Strong APP support (day & night coverage)

Requirements

• MD/DO
• BC/BE Neurosurgery
• Active Illinois license or IMLC
• 6 hrs stroke CME (facility can assist if needed)
  

Schedule

• Mon Fri: 7a 5p + night call (5p 7a)
• Weekend: 24-hour call (Fri 5p Mon 7a)
• 7 call days/month

Clinical Details

• Adult/geriatric-heavy patient mix
• Avg 6 7 consults/day
• Census patients (avg 25)
• 4 8 surgical cases/week

Procedures

• General neurosurgery
• Cranial & spinal trauma
• Intracranial hemorrhage
• EVD placement, hydrocephalus
• Craniotomies, spine decompression & instrumentation

Support

• 4 daytime APPs + night APP coverage
• RN & MA support
